.......what a special day to ride form Chipata to Lusaka! They suffered with heavy rain and freezing cold as they drove through the high mountains en route to Lusaka which was probably grand for the likes of Jim (being a mountain man himself) and Phil but difficult conditions for the 5***** boys from Dubai, not exactly the Emirates Road with 6 lanes in each direction! (and Costa Coffee every few kms!)

They stopped on the edge of Lusaka at a campsite and pitched their tents but when a 4 man room in the lodge became available later, Ambrose, Phil, Kimo & Jim moved in there - SOFT or what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Important to be aware that this is the second time that John has been left alone in his tent while they moved inside..................is there some hidden meaning there that I am missing??? Poor John left alone in his tent in his wet sleeping bag, (had forgotten to mention yesterday that his sleeping bag had got wet. I imagine he will smell fab by the time we get to see him again!)

The usual suspects of Jim & Phil headed in to O'Hagan's Bar in downtown Lusaka to check out the local Guinness!
