It is now a week since the trip began and some of you may have noticed that there has been a total lack of communication, this has been due to non availability of internet or even electricity in some places!

I have now been delegated the job of bringing you all up to date. This is not a job I applied for, more of a 'PLEASE PLEASE WE HAVE NOONE ELSE???' (and that message was sent by morse code) and as a result the opinions expressed in the following mails are mine and mine alone.

The fact that this is the third time in 17 months that I have been left 'HOME ALONE' with those hundreds of children and the dog could also colour my views/opinions on the journey............... Liamhan
