Although the plan had been to leave Arusha early Jim's bike was suffering with 'blocked filters' due to 'dirty petrol' and many hours were spent sorting out the problem. I wonder if it was some sort of cheaper fuel as in a Kenyan version of 'red fuel?'

Saturday.......they all met up with Martin (a friend we made a few years ago on safari in Tanzania, he was our tour guide there) and started their safari spending the day travelling through the grasslands of the Lake Manyara area.
